A Delicious Way To Drench Beans

It is one of the plants that belongs to the vetch genus under the fava family, and it is one of the very important plants for building the organs of the human body; It contains dietary fiber, proteins, calories, carbohydrates, sugar, fats, and a number of vitamins such as vitamin K, vitamin A, and mineral salts such as magnesium, copper, manganese, phosphorous, iron, and calcium.

Bean drenching method

Ingredients:

  • Four hundred and twenty-five grams of canned fava beans.
  • One hundred and seventy grams of tomato paste.
  • Half a cup of lemon juice.
  • A piece of chopped onion.
  • a glass of water.
  • A tablespoon of each: olive oil, tahini.
  • Two teaspoons of cumin.
  • Three cloves of crushed garlic.

 

How to prepare:

  • Heat two teaspoons of oil in a saucepan over a medium heat, then add the onions and saute until they wilt for five minutes.
  • Add the fava beans in the pot, then pour the water, stir the mixture well and leave it until it boils.
  • Pour the tomato paste, xenon oil, lemon juice, tahini, garlic and cumin and leave the ingredients on the fire to boil for several minutes.
  • Then pour the beans in the serving dish.

Note: You can add cumin and coriander on top of the beans when serving.

How to make fava beans at home

Ingredients:

  • A can of beans.
  • Three tablespoons of tahini.
  • Salt and olive oil – to taste.
  • One medium sized chopped tomato.
  • Crushed garlic clove.
  • Half of a lemon.
  • Chopped fresh green parsley for garnish.

How to prepare:

  • Wash the beans well, then boil them in a saucepan on the fire.
  • After it is boiled and half cooked from the water, put it in a serving dish aside.
  • In a bowl, add garlic, lemon juice, chopped tomatoes, salt, tahini and mix well.
  • Mash the beans with a food fork, then add the previous sauce, then olive oil.
  • Garnish the face of the beans with chopped parsley, then serve.

How to make fava beans for diet

Ingredients:

  • Two cups of boiled beans,
  • Two teaspoons of cumin.
  • Half a cup of lemon juice.
  • Two cups of water.
  • Six cloves of crushed garlic.
  • A teaspoon of table salt.
  • Green or white onions, and radish for serving.

How to prepare:

  • Pour the water into a saucepan, and put it on the fire until it boils.
  • Add the beans, then mash it a little, until the mixture becomes thick.
  • Remove the pan from the heat, and pour the mixture into a serving dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix the salt, lemon juice, cumin, and garlic.
  • Add the mixture to the beans, and stir until combined.
  • We serve the dish of beans on the dining table next to the dish of radish and onions.
